The Shop Owner's Message Vault: 162 Messages
You already know what to say
The car is done. The customer declined the brake job. The invoice is thirty days out. You have said these things a thousand times. The problem is typing them again at 6:40 on a Friday with the phone ringing and a car on the lift waiting on a part. So the message does not get sent.
What this is
162 customer messages, already written, in one Excel workbook. Eleven categories covering the whole life of a repair order: 16 appointment messages, 18 for while the car is in the shop, 14 for ready and pickup, 16 for recovering declined work, 20 maintenance reminders, 16 for winning customers back, 10 for asking for reviews, 18 for invoices and collections, 10 for new customers, 12 shop announcements, and 12 for the hard conversations nobody wants to start.
Each message comes as an SMS version under 160 characters, an email version with a subject line, or both. Short enough to send from the counter. Long enough to say the thing properly when it needs saying.
How it works
Open the SETUP tab. Type your shop name, phone number, address and review link once. All 162 messages fill those in from then on. You never type your own address again.
Then use the MESSAGE BUILDER tab. Pick a message from the dropdown. Type the customer name, the vehicle, the amount, the date and the technician into the yellow boxes. The finished message appears below, ready to copy into your phone or your email. A live character count tells you whether the text still fits in one message.
If you would rather browse, the ALL MESSAGES tab holds everything in one list you can search with Ctrl+F. There is a tab for each of the eleven categories, and a QUICK PICKS tab with the twelve you will reach for most.
Why it matters
The message that does not get sent is the one that costs money. The declined brake job nobody followed up on. The customer who never heard the car was ready. The invoice that aged out because asking felt awkward. This removes the reason not to send.
Seventeen tabs. One workbook. Nothing to connect, nothing to log into.
The terms
One-time payment of $8.90. Instant download. Works in Excel and Google Sheets, on a desktop or a laptop, online or offline. No subscription, no monthly anything. Every message sits in an ordinary cell, so you can rewrite any of them in your own words and the builder will use your version.
